R&R Farm Tree Consulting, led by Richard Parasiliti Jr., offers comprehensive tree management with a commitment to excellence and sustainability. Richard's expertise spans tree inventories and master planning, risk assessments, and preservation during construction. He also provides tree and plant appraisals to support informed decision-making. With a focus on education and training, Richard offers programs in tree planting and care, young tree pruning, and urban and municipal tree initiatives, ensuring that clients and communities are well-informed and equipped for effective tree management.
Rich Parasiliti Jr. is the Tree Warden for the City of Northampton and the Superintendent of the City’s Department of Public Works Forestry, Parks, and Cemetery Division. He holds a degree from the University of Massachusetts’ Stockbridge School of Agriculture and has completed the Arboriculture and Urban Forestry Certificate Program. Richard is an International Society of Arboriculture Board Certified Master Arborist/Municipal Specialist, with additional qualifications in Tree Risk Assessment and Tree & Plant Appraisal. He is also a Massachusetts Qualified Tree Warden and serves as the principal consulting arborist for R & R Farm Tree Consulting, which provides services across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and to non-profits statewide.
In addition, Richard is the Vice President and a member of the Executive Board of the Massachusetts Tree Wardens’ & Foresters’ Association, where he also serves as the Seedling Coordinator. He was honored as the Massachusetts Tree Warden of the Year by this organization in 2019.
